Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute organized training programs aimed at improving players’ fitness, endurance, teamwork, and technical tug-of-war skills.
Identify, recruit, and select team members based on merit, physical strength, discipline, and ability to work as part of a team.
Promote and enforce safety requirements throughout training sessions and competitions.
Keep accurate and current records of attendance, player performance assessments, and competition results.
Liaise with the County Department of Sports and other relevant stakeholders regarding team participation and allocation of resources.
Requirements for Appointment
Must be a Kenyan citizen.
Must have a secondary school certificate.
Post-secondary training in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
Certificate from the Kenya Tug of War Federation (KTWF) or another recognized sports organization.
At least two (2) years of experience as a tug-of-war player, assistant coach, or coach.
First Aid training.
