F&B Waiter – ME Dubai
About the Role
ME Dubai, located within the iconic Opus by Omniyat in the Burj Khalifa district, is seeking an F&B Waiter to join its food and beverage team. The hotel is the first ME by Meliá property in the Middle East and features 93 rooms and suites, with Central Cosmo Tapas and Bar serving as its signature food and beverage outlet.
The F&B Waiter will work closely with the Supervisor to provide professional, attentive, and efficient service while ensuring guests receive an exceptional experience in line with ME Dubai standards.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver courteous, professional, and efficient food and beverage service to guests.
Adapt to different responsibilities and sub-departments according to operational requirements.
Complete opening and closing duties in accordance with established procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and ensure service areas are kept in excellent condition.
Respond professionally to guest questions, requests, concerns, and complaints.
Anticipate guest needs and take proactive steps to enhance their overall experience.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of food, beverages, and available products.
Apply effective upselling techniques to increase sales and enhance guest experiences.
Help minimize product wastage while maintaining appropriate service standards.
Support departmental marketing activities and inventory-related tasks when required.
Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, colleagues, supervisors, and management.
Maintain punctuality, professional grooming, and a high standard of personal presentation.
Follow all applicable health, safety, hygiene, and departmental procedures.
Remain flexible and respond positively to changing operational and departmental requirements.
Attend and actively participate in required training sessions.
Perform duties in accordance with ME Dubai's brand standards and values.
