Waiter / Waitress

Tasks

Deliver breakfast, lunch and dinner service while consistently maintaining luxury hospitality standards.
Prepare and maintain the assigned service station, including mise en place, presentation and service timing.
Accurately take and post guest orders and handle billing carefully.
Anticipate guest requirements and provide warm, professional and attentive service.
Accommodate dietary requirements and special guest requests as communicated.
Assist with bar service and bush dining whenever included in the guest programme.
Respond to guest requests and complaints promptly, professionally and with appropriate follow-up.
Safeguard stock and glassware while maintaining a polished and professional guest environment.
Complete all end-of-shift closing procedures and required reports.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience working as a waiter or waitress in a 4-star or 5-star hotel, lodge or safari camp.
Strong food and beverage service knowledge, including table and wine service.
Ability to maintain accurate, hygienic and well-presented service standards.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Willingness to reside at the camp and work rotating shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
Willingness to work according to a rotational leave schedule.
Calm, dependable and guest-focused, with a strong commitment to service standards and integrity.
