Education

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages will be an added advantage.
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), development methodologies, and industry best practices.
Solid knowledge of web technologies and modern web application architectures.
Good understanding of internet protocols, including TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS.
Familiarity with responsive web design principles, accessibility standards, and secure coding practices.
Knowledge of contemporary software development frameworks, tools, and programming languages.
Understanding of database design concepts, database development, and SQL is desirable.

Experience

Demonstrated experience in full-stack software development, including:
- Backend development using Python and the Django framework.
- Front-end development using JavaScript and React for modern, responsive user interfaces.
- WordPress CMS development and integration with online payment gateways.
- Development and maintenance of applications using October CMS (PHP/Laravel) and Drupal (PHP/Twig).
- Experience with C# development will be considered an added advantage.
Proven track record in designing, developing, and supporting complex web-based systems and digital platforms.
Hands-on experience working with REST and SOAP APIs, web services, and application integration frameworks.
Familiarity with Docker, Linux environments, CI/CD pipelines, and source code management tools is desirable.
Experience in user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design will be an added advantage.
Knowledge of web server administration, including NGINX and Apache, as well as caching technologies and website performance optimization techniques.
Prior experience within NGO, humanitarian, or nonprofit technology environments is advantageous.
Exposure to Microsoft Azure cloud services is desirable.
Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is considered a plus.
