Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining the Nairobi Convention's website and associated online platforms.
Contribute to the design and maintenance of interactive dashboards for projects such as SWIOFC-NC PP1, SWIOFC-NC PP2, NOCAMO, and other related initiatives.
Gather, organize, and prepare project data, reports, and outputs for integration into web-based dashboards and reporting systems.
Support the consolidation of data from multiple sources into unified datasets for digital platforms and visualization tools.
Help create, update, and manage metadata and structured information used in web mapping applications and project information systems.
Perform basic data analysis and assist in interpreting results using digital reporting and visualization tools to support project communication and informed decision-making.
Support the preparation and publication of web pages for COP12 and other events by ensuring timely upload of working documents, information papers, and related materials.
Manage website content by uploading and maintaining project documents, event resources, news updates, and communication materials.
Contribute to improving the Nairobi Convention's digital presence by enhancing website accessibility, visibility, and knowledge-sharing platforms.

Applicants should meet at least one of the following academic requirements at the time of application:

Be currently enrolled in or have completed a postgraduate degree program (Master's degree or higher).
Be enrolled in or have completed the final year of a bachelor's degree or an equivalent undergraduate program.
Hold a university degree in web development, computer science, information technology, software engineering, data science, digital systems, or another closely related discipline.

In addition, applicants should:

Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Show the ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds while respecting different perspectives and viewpoints.
Have a genuine interest in the mission and values of the United Nations and a commitment to the principles of the UN Charter.
Possess academic training relevant to the internship. While previous professional experience is not required, applicants should be in the final year of a bachelor's program, enrolled in or have completed a Master's or Ph.D. program, or have already graduated with one of these qualifications.
